The Summer weight training and conditioning program will begin on Tuesday June 1st, and will run Monday through Thursday, with two sessions daily from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Students may only attend one session per day. Each session is made up of approximately 50% strength training and 50% speed training. As stated in the U.I.L. rules, coaches are allowed to take students through the workouts during these sessions.

These workout sessions are open to both girls and boys. There will be sessions four days per week for all four weeks in June. For your planning, the weight room will be closed from June 25 to July 5th, in observance of the 4th of July and to allow time for vacations. The conditioning program will start back up July 4 and continue through the 23rd of July. There will be an open weight room available from July 27th through July 30th. Proper dress and behavior is expected by anyone who chooses to attend. This program is a great way to get in shape and get acclimated to the heat this summer. The first day for football and volleyball practice will be August 3rd. All athletes must have their physicals completed and hair cut prior to their first practice of the new school year.
